ChatterVOX® Amplio™ is a compact, personal voice amplifier designed to be convenient and effective yet inconspicuous. Five steps to your first conversation
- Charge first. Plug in the charger, then snap the magnetic cable onto CHG IN. The CHG light is red while charging and green when full.
- Wear it as you would a lanyard. Clip the strap to the two bars, or to the metal rings of the leather case. Adjust both buckles equally so the amplifier hangs at breastbone level, speaker grille facing your listener.
- Fit the headset. Band over your ears and around the back of your head, boom on the left. Windscreen beside the corner of your mouth, one finger-width away.
- Plug in and switch on. Microphone plug into MIC IN. Rotate the volume control toward ON. The PWR light comes on.
- Adjust the volume. Speak with normal effort and increase the volume until listeners hear you clearly. Then back it off slightly: listeners hear more than you do.

Every control on the top edge
- CHG: Red LED. Lights while the battery is charging and switches to green when the charge is complete.
- CHG IN: Magnetic charging connector. It shows a blue LED when it is receiving power from the charger. The cable connector snaps onto the charge port by itself when you bring it close. Use only the ChatterVOX® power supply and cable supplied with the unit.
- EARPHONE: 3.5 mm output jack for private listening and rehabilitative voice exercises. Fitted with a removable capping plug. When an earphone is connected, the speaker is muted.
- MIC IN: 3.5 mm input jack for the microphone.
- ON / OFF volume control: Rotating left switches the amplifier ON and then increases the volume. Rotating to the right lowers the volume and then switches the amplifier OFF.
- PWR: Green LED. Lights when the amplifier is switched on. It changes to yellow and then red when the battery is low and needs charging.

ChatterVOX® voice amplifiers and microphones are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, as established by your proof of purchase. If you have a problem, contact ELT Service first. Many issues are resolved in a single conversation and without the need to ship anything for service. No product will be accepted for service without a Return Authorization (RA) number on the package.
